Technology and IT consultancy firm Devoteam has appointed Casper Ryborg as CEO and country manager for Devoteam Denmark. His primary task will be to drive the growth of the overall Devoteam following the completion of his predecessor’s mission to integrate several acquired companies and create a unified Devoteam.
Denmark, effective October 1, 2023. He succeeds Marianne Woldbye Tholin, who has accepted an international role within Devoteam and will continue as Group Vice President overseeing a portfolio of global projects such as Cloud Managed Services, Casper Ryborg joins Devoteam from his position as an Equity Partner at PwC in Switzerland.
Casper Ryborg has also led advisory teams in significant customer projects in cybersecurity, digitalization, ERP implementation, and financial transformation. One of Casper’s success factors is building confidential and close customer relationships by combining deep technology understanding with critical business needs to support customers’ strategic ambitions.
He takes over a Danish business where the transformation and integration of Devoteam’s many corporate acquisitions in recent years have been completed under the leadership of Marianne Woldbye Tholin. This lays the foundation for a unified Devoteam with a clear goal of growing faster than the rest of the industry in the coming years. As an advisor, Devoteam has had a particular strength in the public sector for several years. With Casper on board, Devoteam now has better opportunities to balance growth in both the private and public markets.
“Marianne Woldbye Tholin has successfully taken on and completed the significant task of integrating Devoteam’s acquired companies to create one Devoteam. Now that she is needed in an expanded global role, I am pleased to take the helm of the Danish business. I come to Devoteam with a growth agenda, with a particular focus on the private sector, which has always been my area of expertise,” emphasizes Casper Ryborg, who will spend the first 60 days meeting customers, employees, and partners to fully understand Devoteam’s business and position.
He also points out that in the years following the pandemic, the market has been characterized by consolidation and postponed projects. During the same period, Devoteam transformed its Danish business while increasing its workforce. Therefore, Devoteam is well-positioned for an impending market shift.
