PlanBørnefonden (part of Plan International) works to create better lives for children in many parts of the world. Through a close collaboration with Inviso by Devoteam, PlanBørnefonden has introduced a new data culture across their organisation. This has made it much faster for employees to get an overview of the development in their sponsors, financial key figures and the impact they make across some of the world’s most vulnerable areas.
With automated dashboards PlanBørnefonde can signifcantly reduce the time they spend on reporting, make better decisions based on a solid data foundation, and thus release more time to focus on their most important task: working for children and childrens’ rights.
A new data culture
In the video below, PlanBørnefonden’s CEO, Dorthe Petersen, and CFO, Mikkel Hauschildt, talks us through the data challenges they faced, how the collaboration with inviso by Devoteam enabled them to pull data across several sources (CRM, Microsoft Navision, Excel, and more), and make them available to the entire organisation. The process also included training in Alteryx and Power BI, which allows PlanBørnefonden to work further with their data as self service analytics.
